Having owned four Mazda 6 Sport hatchback models from 2004 up to 2011 I have had the chance to examine the latest Madza 6 last Sunday in my local Mazda dealers.

It was a Mazda 6 Tourer Sport model,it a a big car compared to my current 2011 model.

They have at last fitted Sport seats very comfortable, it is a well kitted out car, but the options list is rubbish!!!

No space saver option or sunroof, these options are normally standard on New Zealand models.

The tyre size has been increased to 19",I doubt if you could fit an alloy spare wheel in the boot the floor pan is not deep enough.

I think Mazda have made a mistake not offering a hatchback model, how many old saloon models did they sell against hatchback models?

Hey,

Blimey, that's some 6 ownership!

Thanks for the info about the new 6. I've got my name down for a test drive of the new saloon in Feb, so I can report back then too.

I bet that after a while we have owners who complain of the seat wobbling around..........the shinny paint and the size is not the whole deal.
